Wow, another magic tool by Chris!

Why wasting your time for creating the several icons now in use with the new UI?

Thanks to Chris we have now the way to generate all icons we need, automatically and in a while, providing only one "icon" in PNG at the max resolution!

More detailed info are shown in the tool itself that is now listed into the main page: http://meetme.bplaced.net/rF2_onlineTools/

    Many thanks for this!

I've updated the tutorial I wrote to include this link. It's vastly superior and streamlined compared to the manual batch file process I had.

After having added new tools, now it's time of restructuring the whole site... It will take time and I'll post again once all will be finalized.

Everything will work as well, so you are free to use the tools, but, please, post or pm me or email Chris in case you get some error.

    Thank you.

    LOL
My explanation wasn't clear... restructuring refers to the internal code and management of scripts, folders, files..., nothing that can be seen by users.

Great tool, thanks very much! Sadly the biggest work in the process is still deleting the background behind the car and making this transparent. This must be done manually. Do you have any tips?

    Hello all together.
I have let reactivated my Forum Accout, to be able to directly post here again.
At first, let me thank @Slow Motion, for being the "Wire to the Forum" for me. :)
And, of course, let me thank all of you, for using the Tools.
If you ever get Problems, please inform me.
rFactor 2 is still WIP and Changes in it's Code can have Effects on the Tools.
So if Problems appear, i need to know it, to be able (if possible) to improve the Tools. ;)

Small question, maybe just a knot in my head but i dont think so ;)

I converted a car from rf1 to rf2, used your tools to convert the rf1 tbc and added an tgm from another car (That is the tire i want to use for player and ai).
Am I correct that the player uses my "new" tgm tire but the ai still uses the old tbc tire?

So, i need to edit the tbc, too?

If you did upload the rF1 TBC and the TGM that you want to use and did edit nothing by Hand, the Tool adapts the Sizes of the TGM to the Sizes in the TBC automatically, by using the Size Multiplier.
And yes, if nothing has been changed in the Games Code, the human Player uses the TGM and the AI uses the TBC.
You could compare the max Speed, that you can achive with the default Setup, with the max Speed of the AI.
For example on the Indianapolis Oval.
They should be the same as close as possible.
If that is the Case, it is an Indicator that the Tire Sizes of TBC and TGM are OK.

Just to inform you about a Fix for one of the Tools.
While updating some of the Tools, i noticed that the Tool, with that you can transfer your Player Settings from an old Player or Multiplayer JSON File, to a new generated one, had an Issue in some Cases.
The different Entries didn't match each other, in the Table where they are listed.
The Effect was, that the Entry where it happened, was replaced with a wrong Entry.
If you use this Tool, please always check if all Entries in the left Column are the same as in the right Column, as shown in the below Screenshot.
If that is not the Case, don't let the Tool finish it's Work and inform me please. Thank you :)

    Just a short Update. :)
I have added a new Site to the Tools, with that you can directly download S397 and ISI Tyres (TGM).
The Tyres are the ones that already have been available in the Tool
"Modify them with the TGM SizeMultiplier and Convert from rF1"
    and some new ones.

Related to this Thread, i just want to inform you, that i have updated the Icon Creator Tool from my Website.
It now resizes the uploaded High Res Icon Files, with no matter which Resolution, to a Height of 1152 px (the Aspect Ratios stays the same).
You just have to take care for the proper Naming of the uploaded Files, to get a proper Set of Icon Files back.
If any Problems appear, please post and report here.

    Just as an Information.
    - I have modified the Script, that generates the UI Icons, a little bit.
Now the uploaded Screenshots, that don't have the File Name ending with ...-icon-2048x1152.png, will
automatically be renamed and -icon-2048x1152.png gets added to the File Name.

    - The Number of Uploads of Files is limited to 6 now, that can be uploaded at the same Time.

    - And there is a new Feature, with that you can add another Picture, like a Manufacturer Logo or something
else, to the Icons (some more Info about that, is on the Site).
Unfortunately, due to the Limitations of the free bplaced Webspace, the Site has to be refreshed (F5)
sometimes, during the Execution of this new Feature, to be able to finish the Action.
Also for that, you'll find some Information on the Site.

As always, please report Problems here, or send me a Mail directly.
The Mail-Adress can be found on the Tools main Site.
