    Hi,

I am just trying to set up a dedicated server of my own.

I have got to the part where I have made a copy of the game shortcut and in the shortcut properties I need to rename the 'target' to

    F:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Launcher\Launch rFactor.exe" +multiplayer +connect="127.0.0.1:64297"

However 'target' has now changed to 'location' and won't let me change the path.

Can't remember how I got around this issue last time, does anyone know?

I think you are missing quotation mark at the very start before F:
    "F:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Launcher\Launch rFactor.exe" +multiplayer +connect="127.0.0.1:64297"

If that doesn't work try this
    F:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Launcher\Launch rFactor.exe +multiplayer +connect="127.0.0.1:64297"

OK I have created a new short cut and for some strange reason it lets me change the target now so thats all good.

However when I double click to launch the new shortcut nothing happens
