My post did somewhat come out a little bitchy I didn't mean that. But there's nothing wrong with ur post at all, good spot if anything. But the sim community has been harsh on s397 reuse of this model and as dave rightly said mostly likely the real manufacturers do this to. But again s397 could of been more tidier so to speak. Any this is a good thread and. Lot of user time taken to make it. Keep it up!
Am I actually the first to notice this grievance. I don't know if the 3d model has the wrong dimensions or the suspension was positioned wrong, but it looks very crooked. https://drive.google.com/file/d/1F0Tjy8kSeEGBwNzG6jpMq3UTyXT7rhgt/view?usp=sharing
I painted myself a Corvette GTE today and when I went on track I noticed this while watching the replay: Have I missed out something or is this a bug? Anyone else get the white parts or can explain the problem so I can fix it please.
Thanks for the reply mr.Sw1tchblade, Tried a default skin and still had the white parts...cleared cbash & shaders, still the same. Then tried a couple of different tracks i.e. official tracks and it shows carbon floor & black parts. Track I was using was AC Spa
Quality rip, lol. If you have time to waist you can contact moding team and ask them to fix this bug. It's not S397 problem in this case.
It is not only visually but also functionally disturbing. The windscreen wiper of the Aston Martin stops the movement much too far up, so that you can only see through the windscreen quite far up in the rain. But in reality the wiper reaches down to the lower edge as shown here And thats not the only car with that problem but here its huge.
from inside the car, the A-Pillar blocks your view of several inches of the outer edge of the windscreen. We have had this complaint from the time the wiper was introduced. Several folks complained about the Norma, but S397 posted photos that backed up their angles. I don't know if the actual Aston race car has a wiper that slides down to a resting position when not in use. If it does, I don't think the current coding of the wiper allows for that, it stays within an arc that keeps it up on the windscreen. We probably would need a good rain photo/video to examine the sweep of the wiper blade in action.
like this? https://www.kienthucmang.com/view/-...rstone-aston-martin-gt3-2019-nicki-thiim.html about 2mins in for full wiper action..
Yep the BMW M6 GT3 rear wheel position in the rear wheel arch seems to be off... At least for the car model when you are on the track... The showroom car model seems not to have this issue... Visiually the edge of the rear bumper touches/is in the tire... @Christopher Elliott Can you please forward this to the art team if it´s not already on the table ?
When do we get an answer? Is it already being repaired or is it still being done? An answer would be nice I know you have a lot of work and you have been a small team
We know it was recognized. We know that S397 do read and consider the bug reports in the forum. What we also know is that we won't get any feedback here. So please stop asking again and again. This won't change anything and the more you ask the unlikely an answer will be.
I also wanted to report that the same happens with the BMW M8 GTE - there is no visual change with the standard vs Le Mans aero package. In the Porsche 911 RSR and Corvette C7.R GTE it does change. (Im using the Beta-UI)
GT3 improvements are always welcome. If the devs are looking for a simple quality of life improvement that I'm sure a few people would appreciate, how about putting the Macca 620 WFG and 720 Shadow cars into separate entries in the opponent filter? They're already separate in the player vehicle selection screen. As it stands, selecting "GT3" in the opponent filter pretty much guarantees that 50% of the field will be WFG and Shadow liveries.
