I have no solution, but I am curious if it might be tied to another track issue. Look at your track list and try to determine if some of the sub-tracks for a particular track are split up. I Zandvoort is one of those that separate several of the layouts due to naming confusion with 3rd party tracks. I'm fairly certain S397 does not compare and contrast 3rd party tracks and expects other tracks to make naming corrections to clear things up. Anyhow, just for my info I guess. Are you using a track with some of the minor layouts located up or down the track list from the main circuit?
This bug has been around a long time now. The solution is to pick the track used in the replay first in single player mode, then load the replay. Do not expect S397 to ever fix this.
When S397 wakes up from their arrogance and starts listening to their employers (us) I shall cease and desist. It is hard to fathom with looking at past mistakes and track records from failed companies that S397 are joyfully following that business model right now. MOST tell them to fix the bugs BEFORE releasing more content but they refuse to. So now forums all over the place are seeing the cause and effect of this. I and many others (list is growing exponentially) will not buy any more DLC's. As for esports competitions, 1% care or watch them. I more month until AMS2!!! A company that fixes it's bugs...
Hey guys, I know it's annoying but there actually is a workaround: you have to choose the same track as the one in the replay before loading it, as you were about to go have a race in singleplayer mode on it. Simply choose that track on the menu, load the replay and there you go
