Good idea to have reviewed the GT3 BOP.

Many people seem to say that the GTE BOP was badly done and that there are problems, that's why I'm asking :

Will you improve this soon for GTE ?

    Thank you !

    EDIT
    @AMillward Post

"Just because we're not saying anything or not releasing anything doesn't mean we're not working on it. some work on the GTE cars (balancing them) has already started, some things we really need to investigate a bit more before we can say what's up"

Please excuse my stupidity, but I'm not that up to speed with GT3 or GTE...

Is this BoP update replicating real life BoP? Like they built the cars using accurate data, and now they are following the accurate real-life BoP changes that have been applied to the real cars?

Or is this simulated BoP? Like they've made the cars with accurate data and now adjusting weight and/or power because the cars aren't matched in the sim?

I think it's to adjust the harmony between all the GT3s in the game.
the IRL data comes from the manufacturers, the Balance Of Performance of a championship.
S397 has not signed an agreement with an "IMSA" or "Blancpain" championship licence.
so it's more like an S397 championship BOP. (imo)

    Good evening Mr. Elliott.
I am grateful for the update. For real. Nevertheless, I would like to question again, what about the mentioned and obvious defects in the GT3 Pack?
When will they finally be fixed?
I paid for a service that has still not been fully completed.
How long do I have to wait for it as a customer?
I would be really grateful for an answer from you .. S397.
There is no question that you deliver quality, that you are a small team.
But you just owe us that answer.

So, the 2019 Audi got a 10kg weight penalty & the McLaren 650S did not get a 5kg weight reduction. The Aston 25kg rather than 15kg on? The M6 20kg rather than 30kg off?
The roadmap said otherwise, so just clarifying. Or are these additional to the roadmap update?

Please refer to this thread only for the BOP changelog. The Roadmap had a couple of mistakes in the log.

    Hello community, hello admins,
my league is racing the gt3 content in 90 min races. we had a full distance testrace on sunday with the new bop and im simply asking, how can you say your testdrivers tested all cars for qualy and race pace with full fuel and not seeing that some cars just eat tires like crazy compared to others? to be fair qualy was very close and im fine with that but i mean the bmw for e.g. uses half the tires than we did in the porsche. and im not a beginner, i know how to drive and not overdrive these cars, also have a pretty good idea about setups...but if you burn through your tires twice as fast as the bmw, how can you possibly say that they are even in race pace on fuel? Because you ging to lose a lot oft time on worn tires in comparison to other cars. same thing goes for the audi and the corvette, which also have significant amount of tire wear on fuel. and there wasnt even an aston martin in the race...probably still better than most cars...

To be clear here, i love rfactor2, i love the content and im very pleased with the work you guys put in, but this is hopeless to go for something else that the bmw or the aston or maybe the audi for long races...i can pretty much see where this season of mine is going in the porsche...

We tested full fuel stints as well as flying laps, of course. These are extremely competent drivers that carried out these tests.
It doesn't mean the end result will suit everyone 100%.

Even with any licence I would be not surprised such information will not be handed over. BOP is always a back and forth and a 100% solution is kinda impossible.

Has someone tested the BOP and can share experiences?

BOP is not that different in the real world, balancing cars is an ongoing task. We intend to keep on it.
