Lets just hope this not going to be another track ruined by modern F1.

It certainly is going to be wider, and I expect the corner behind the pits will be flattened. Another tunnel, especially one buried in sand AND near a braking zone could lead to a hump due to settling. This won't be your Father's Zandy.

Need a sanity check before undertaking projects. That's a lot of work and money for a track F1 has outgrown. A passing opportunity into T1 that'll need DRS to avoid being easy to defend, a half opportunity into the chicane hampered by aero in the previous corner, and accidents waiting to happen in the left hand hairpin with divebombs and no benefit from alternate entry lines.

Half the track is a winding straight for modern cars, even historic F1 provided little fighting apart from unforeseen tyre degradation or missed gearchanges that no longer happen.

If it didn't have history this would be a touring car track with F1 cars running on it for a few years before they give up and go elsewhere.

The changes they're making look quite minor, mainly the chicane that wasn't historic anyway.

Well, no but also yes since S397 haven't bothered to fix it. The last update turned it purple. I reported it immediately but they don't give a rats ass it seems.

Yep, like a wet apex-line. But if the screenshot shows an apex line, Zanvoort has the whole all track.

It depends, when using more saturated grip configurations, it could affect more of the track surface.
    I make an assumption:
The rubber is supposed to reflect light in a certain way/color/method whatsoever, but they haven't fully customized the old track materials/layers to the new rendering method, or forgot a certain piece so the result comes in an unexpected manner.
I assume wonky quality control and testing....again unfortunately...i mean, this should've been definitely noticed, while driving and i don't believe, this look of the blue line is intentional. :D

    Too unexpected, yes.

As I understand it, there's no need to wait for a fix. Especially after 3 years.

The PBR system is relatively new to rF2 and i'm not sure, it was planned 3 years ago. This is an unexpected phenomenon, that can happen and even, when i'm still stand on my point, that there is lack of testing going on, it's still a pretty new thing, that can result in hickups. The question is, how and when it will be solved.^^
