GetMod Manager

Supposedly the new Competition Infrastructure (CI) is supposed to handle workshop content in a similar way to GetMod. This is assuming we actually get the CI.

Of course this does not help us with non workshop content.

I have put the GetMod Manager at the root of rFactor2 and I got a new error. I have accepted the error and it has let me choose the folder and save it, but I get the error again and I cannot get the mods to load.

The bad thing is that now the GetMod Manager that previously worked, now gives an error too.

But I have noticed that it is very slow.
Are there any settings on the server or in our rF2 installation that increase the download speed?

Direct download time from DropBox:
- Circuit: 58 seconds.
- Vehicles: 21 seconds.

Download time with GetMod from the server.
- Circuit: 5:00 minutes.
- Vehicles: 1:18 minutes.

 

change the speed, in my case I have 500mb and my community downloads at full speed
