    Hi davehenrie.

I don't know if this will work for you, but I used the mod manager to install the *..rfcmp files, then started rF2 and loaded fine.

    Cheers!

Thanks Rking. I've used the old UI to install most of those, I was just describing how it worked for me in the new UI. I didn't even know about the mod manager til this week. I always ASSUMED it was the packages screen in the old UI. lol.

Seems to work ok , no real issues, takes a little getting used to. The vertical field of view seems to default to 9 evrytime you open display, if i set it to 40 then go on track, exit back to pits, open display its back on 9 again. Missing default setup option for tracks (stockcar) but I believe that has been mentioned. Still missing UI sound, please give us some UI sounds, buttons clicks, music.

Oh lord! You know how many complaints we'll see if they put some innocuous little teeny tiny sound whenever the mouse crosses an active choice?

I like that there are sounds in the UI, they are missing I think.

Of course, this is not a priority.

Softer unintrusive sounds. No hardcore 90's video game "KACHAAANG!!!". :D

I delete/remove all music from my sims if possible. None have I cared about listening to more than once.

On rF1 there were some interface models that were installed with certain mods, with sounds and videos integrated into the UI. I thought it was great.

Friends of Studio 397, I waited anxiously for the new UI but it is not working for me. Every time I switch to "Public-Beta" I get the information - "Error: Microsoft Visual C ++ Runtime Library. This application has been requested to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the applications support team fot more information."
I've done everything I have all the updated drivers but every time I try to use public-beta the same thing happens. Have a solution to solve this problem?

    ..:\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Support\Runtimes
Run all 4 of the vcredist files found in the Runtimes folder.

 I beat someone. That's going to have to stop.

I'd try to install the C++ runtimes.
    .../rFactor2/support/runtimes
    Install all

Did anyone suggest verify install? I know it's saying C ++ Error, but maybe worth a try.

Yesterday i tried the driver swap with the new UI to see how it works (long weekend of endurance racing ahead), all good, pretty simple and easy. Though i would change the "drive" button with something like "swap" or "drive with..." so it's even easier to understand the first time.
