Do you have to select the "Windscreen Outside Shader" in the bottom Shader box? It shows that in the link. https://docs.studio-397.com/develop...eenShadersforCars-2.2-ShaderandMaterialsSetup
You have to set it up in the exporter first, then it'll appear. Plus, you have to set live mapper in the cubic map section of the material.
@dazzer And when you have done what @Coutie has written, you have to write by hand REFMAP0 into the field "Reflection Mapper".
for the creation of textures on 1 i putt the internal_transparent.dds but what texture to apply in the other two maps 26 and 27 ?
@elec86 The 2nd Map (#26) usually is a spec Map, created from the 1st Map (#25) and the 3rd (#27) a Cube Map, where you can use the Car_Cube.dds or Car_Cube_Dx9.dds from the cmaps.mas, that is in the ..\ModDev\Vehicles Folder. Map #28 is not used, but if you use the Windscreen Inside Shader, you have to set it to Mapping Channel 2 and also map it properly to Channel 2, if you want the Rain appearing properly on the Windows. Get more Information HERE
It's the same as for the Inside Shader. But you normally use a different Map #25, where you can use the one from the Inside Shader and rename it, but with a darker Alpha Channel, to get it more transparent. But it depends on the used Textures. And i would suggest to use the 2 Windscreen Shaders that have no "No Rain". Or don't you want to have Rain on the Windows?
Do you mean what i advise as Texture? If you don't want to paint a Banner on the Windscreen, Driver Names on the Side Windows, a black Border around the Windows or something like that, you can use a simple 64x64 Texture with an Alpha Channel, where you use the Color of the Alpha Channel to define the Transparency (Black= 100% Transparency, White= no Transparency. And save that as DXT5. And for the Outside Windows Texture, you e.g. can use a green Color and for the Inside Windows i would suggest to use a White Texture and more Transparency and less Reflections than on the Outside Windows.
In Photoshop, load the "main" Texture, then select Picture->Corrections->black-white in the Menu. That transforms the Colors into Gray Shades and you can use that as the spec Map. But check the Site that i have linked above, maybe with the new Shaders, you need different made spec Maps. Visuals are not my preferred Area.
everything works in the "add windows thank you in the inside shader no rain in 26 i have color texture but not a specular texture Is that all right?
