Nice mod! I'm thinking about publishing my own Red Bull car with the sound and graphics of this mod. Can I have your permission to use the graphics and sound of the Red Bull car? I will use my own physics. Thanks in advance.
If it does not appear after it's installed, check for conflict with another MOD or try to clean the CBash folder.
How do I check for a conflict? I noticed that the hungaroring mod also does not show up, I installed them around the same time.
When updates of components don't replace the existing installation of former versions, you maybe have 2 or more installations of different versions of the same mod. Search the launchers content list, if there are different versions installed. Or search the folder ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles (for cars) ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Locations (for tracks) For example the version 1.0 of this mod has the folder OW_F1_2019_v.1.0. If ACFL has kept their structure, you maybe find a folder OW_F1_2019_v.1.3 or OW_F1_2019_v.1.5 and OW_F1_2019_v.1.7 now. Uninstall or delete the older versions.
1.7 is the first version I have installed of this mod, it is in the packages folder. It is an .rcfmp file they go in the packages folder I believe?
If you can't use another mod too, the problem is in rf2 and not in mod. Try checking the integrity of the files. When I returned to the old UI, after testing the new one, I could not install anything. In my case the problem was in the address of the packages folder that was changed. When I adjusted the path, solved it. If you are using the new UI, or have returned to the old UI, maybe it has changed something.
Great mod, but this mod seems to be a bit FPS heavy on my system...I wonder if it has to do with the mirrors on all opposing cars being active when racing...is there a way of shutting this off?
Maybe a stupid question..... after you have put the rfcmp file into the packages folder, you also have it installed then, right? EDIT I have installed the 1.7 now and it shows up properly in the menu. Do you have the folder ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\Installed\Vehicles\OW_F1_2019_v.1.7 with the subfolder 1.7 that includes all the mas files?
I am in the new UI and I am u aware of how to do the above. It was easy on the old menu re dropping into packages and installing, how is it now done in the new UI?
Okay, just worked it out, found a new section in the new UI for installing it, all good, thanks for the help guys.
I have tried several times to download this mod from MediaFire but always get a message that the RAR archive is corrupt. Any alternative links?
