Fortunately Lazza's mod fixes the seat height issue somewhat.
    But it still seem off.

    Hello
I know this might sound a little weird.
But can I purchase content on my tablet. And then when I get on my gaming machine log in to steam and download it to rfactor2 ?
    Thanks Ruben

I seem to be able to.
I have 1 Steam account, 2 pc with rF2 installed on both with the one licence. I can buy any game and install it on either one of the computers or on both.
I haven't tried running the same game on both pc together and Steam is never logged on to both computers at the same time.

M2 seat height no problems here, mirrors are a bit fuzzy compared to M6. Using old UI

GRAB_000.JPG In most cars I've driven real or sim you can see over the dash.
To see the hood and have a sense of where the nose of the car is.
In my opinion the cockpit adjustments in RF2 are a bit random from car to car.
Why they don't give us more leeway for personal preference is beyond me.
If I wish to drive with my head stick out through the roof who's it hurting
    I'm wearing a helmet anyway.

It's a fun little car and I really want to drive it just needs a little something to get just so.

Cars I've owned where that's not the case: Austin Mini and Ford Focus ST. All you've got is a plate glass window and no clue where the front corners are unless your head is against the roof and the steering wheel in your chest. And don't let me get started on the A-pillar thickness/location in the Ford!

I have purchased several times from my iPhone or iPad from Steam https://store.steampowered.com/app/365960/rFactor_2/
Content is usually downloaded (not installed) when I get home...IF I have left my PC and Steam on. If not, it will when you log in to your PC and Steam when you get home.

    Cheers!

Yesterday evening I raced the 450 Powerhouse variant for the first time. Incredible fun! I would claim it's one of the best sim-cars available over all sims.

On a server, a mate established. Perhaps it's possible at the moment to have a race.

VIR is one of the best driving tracks. Perhaps not all out great racing at times, but the flow of the corners, the elevation changes, the off camber final turn. Pure fun.

So who else is diving this car as a manual stick.
Hard downshifting in the corners, getting all tail happy like a little beamers meant to be.

    Hello
    Yes just got it
And yes very tail happy, and no easy recovery.
Tried harder springs and softer and couple of other things in setup no real difference.
Any help on what will help.

Turn on the traction control in advanced settings.
I believe it is off by default.

This, in addition try to trailbreak and do the weight transfer as smooth as possible. Clean pedalwork is needed and be patient with the throttle outside the corners.

If you feel that the rear is loose, you have to give the gas a gentle push(es) so that the rear tires turn so that traction is built up.
It's all a question of practice and, above all, PATIENCE.
I've been sim racing for more than 1 1/2 years and I'm only now beginning to understand everything correctly.
It is a hobby that takes years to understand and implement correctly.
But it is endless fun :).

A little bit: "Practice until the doctor comes, then continue practicing because the doctor is there, then continue practicing because the doctor is gone :).
    Have fun and enjoy it.
If it doesn't go according to plan, take a break and continue practicing later.
The brain also learns (especially in phases of rest) when resting.

    It is worth!

Also take a look at here.

    Its a small "secret weapon".
A book from a former professional's driver. He will teach you the Deiving Technique. Written very understandably.
Before you do anything to the setup, you have to master the driving technique.
This is the perfect Sim Racing Trainer .
It's also aviable as Kindle Book App.
