OK, to sum my current setup up:
Base computer only for simracing: +€800
GPU 2080Ti only for simracing: €1200
    VR Headset Oculus CV1: €500
    Fanatec Wheel CSRE: €500
Wheel Upgrade Kit 9Nm industrial motors and inside out cooling: €500
    Fanatec Pedals CSP V1: €200
    Fanatec Shifter CSS V1: €200
-> €3900 only for current simracing rig hardware (so i voted the >€3000 category)

Not a drink holder in sight.
Almost expect a "personal assistant" for that money. ;)

Around 4.000€ I believe. When my t300 will have it's last days I will perhaps invest in a new rig and dd.

I have voted >5000€. I change in the last year everything to Fanatec (from Thrustmaster and Playseat) and from Triple 27 Screen to Single 49 Curved and VR.

I'm quite surprised by how much all votes are in the extremes of the spectrum . Now I understand better how to translate people impressions and my experience in RF2. (I'm in the low end having only a used G27 with some pedals pimping and track ir as a special tool that I use for flight sim too) .

    $2000 PC
    $900 21:9 monitor
    $900 Obutto r3volution rig
    $650 HE pedals
    $600 CSW 2.5
$350 McLaren GT3 wheel with adaptor
    $250 Clubsport shifter
    ------
    $5650

I wish I hadn't totted that all up. To be fair, my rig, PC and monitor are used outside of sim racing. If I remove those the total drops to $1850, a fair easy pill to swallow.

My computer alone is more than 5000, the 2080 ti sli itself was 3000+, soooo...

    Then you add :

    - gigabyte z390 aorus waterforce extreme (1200€)
    - i9 9900ks (700€)
    - 64 GB 3600 MHz ram (800€)
    - 3 x M.2 samsung 670 evo plus 2TB
    - watercooling system (1000€ with chiller)
    - 2 ultrawide monitors, samsung 5120x1440p 120Hz is something like 1400€ itself, the other one is a 21:9 screen for 800€ I think
    - simucube 2 pro
    - simtag pedals
    - simlab P1X
    - 3 wheels, about 1500€ each
    - all software (rFactor 2 all content, iRacing all content and various other sims)
    - keyboard / mouse (500€)
    - video capture
    - headsets (I have several, up to audeze lcd-gx which is 900€ itself)

Well, surely forgot stuff but it seems to be more than 10 000€

I need to work this out before I vote...

    AU$
G27 - swap replacement for G25, now used for pedals and shifter - $330
    T500 second-hand wheel (F1 rim only) - $300
PC - approx $2000 (first upgrade in 7 years purely for rF2 capability, so I'll count it)
'Racing' desk (no, really just a normal desk) - $100 on clearance
    3 x 27" screens - $600
    Triple screen mount - self-built with some timber and bolts/hinges/rollers - $120
Office chair, plus some timber to attach to pedals and stop me rolling away - $150

So that's $3600, which is about 2250 euro.

US dollars, but then I'll convert the total to Euros for voting
    • Computer: $2000 ($800 in 2012, then expanded and upgraded)
    • Triple 27" Monitors: $660
    • 5.1 sound system: $250 (Yamaha 6.1 receiver purchased used, 30-40 year-old speakers resurrected from the garage, and a new Dayton Audio subwoofer)
    • Fanatec CSWv2 w/BMW rim, shifter, & CSL LC pedals: $1150 (bought in stages over past 5 years while I phased out Logitech G25)
    • Seat, pedal base, & wheel mount: $125 homebuilt back in 2009
    • Monitor table, electric height adjustable: $250
Total: $4435 US, so just shy of $4k Euros.
