    Of course we have a bug tracker, we file these internally based on feedback and when we can reproduce :)

    I would hope they use the feedback to make the UI more intuitive, rather than document a poor UI.

    Been there since rF1.

    As a VR user the sim loads straight into the new UI. There doesn't seem to be an option to select your video card [as per the old UI] and having run a test track, it is obviously running on Auto. I have found the config tool, but I get this error when I load it 'Failed to load advancedeffects file'. Does anyone know what this is? I don't get this when launching from the settings menu in the 'old' menu.

    If you go into your steam library and launch rF2 from there, you should be asked whether you want to run the game or the config. Instead if you launch it from a quick place (eg. right click on your steam icon in toolbar) the game will start straight into the game.

    UI is shorthand for User Interface. In sims, the UI appears to be limited to stuff outside the car and track. In-car items, iare probably NOT under the umbrella of UI(although technically, it is! How we interact with the car is part of an interface.) But Devs use the UI term to refer to menus more than anything else. rF2 has so MANY hidden functions often only available by editing .json files. I think many users dream of the day all the .json edits can be configured from in the game.

    if I run the game with the old UI I get this infolog but still don 't understand why I need to update these VLN mods as i deleted and reinstalled the game

    A few things I noticed:

    -"Force Setup" is missing under the showroom menu

    - when adding AI into a session, while being loaded to the track already, it is only possible to add around 20 opponents, was only limited by max AI of 103 prior to the new UI

    the 3rd has already been adressed so will skip that

    I'm suddently having this problem when loading a track. The pace car (corvette) appears now as a yellow box in pits...

    You have to unsub it from the workshop and unsure the skinpack is fully unistalled.

    First, I've been waiting for this UI for about...2~3 years? And I like it. But...
    Please, have a dark mode, please! My eyes are so hurt!!!! I'm almost blind now.
    Also please have the UI support for controller and keyboard!
    And why the UI is so blurry? The game is set to 1440p in graphics settings and running on a native 1440p monitor.
    One more thing, just integrate all features into one tabs-bar. It's so freaking confusing to have 2xRace, 2xWatch and 2xCommunity tabs both on the top-left and top-right. Just look at how others do in, e.g., F1 2019, Project C.A.R.S. 2 or even ACC and R3E.

    Same here. I have not and will not buy an new content until S397 stops with the haff assed coding and fixes the many bugs that have shown up while they tinkered with a new UI that will not even start for many and is missing key features that ar
    Over 2 years to make this mess that not only does not launch for many but is missing many key features of the old UI is simply ridiculous. Many of us are sick and tired with everything S397 is releasing being only half done. This is not a beta, this is an alpha. A beta does not lose key features of what it is replacing.
