Formula Vee, Skip Barber, are your best bet , for AI I would not bother with 100% , tune AI skill on YOUR skill to have some fun racing. There is not purpose in having the AI lapping 4 or 5 seconds faster than you.

But it is good to have AI that does drive slightly faster than you.

Above mods are great to learn to drive better. They are not beginner mods. They need a willing driver :D

Especially the MX5, they take a certain kinda of finesse to get right...

The Tatuus are good for learning tracks, but quite easy to drive.

I used one of the community GT3 packs last weekend for a bit, the Corvette and the AMG were sublime once I'd gotten to know the car and the track.

Porsche GT3 CUP is a perfect car to learn, ok it's very difficult at first but this car will bring you all you need to know about momentum, braking, trail braking, smooth acceleration, smooth turning in, out and why attacking too far is counter productive.

Of course if you never drove any race car, karts, Skippy and MX-5 (Miata) are pretty good starting cars (they actually may be very cool advanced race cars as well, no race car is ONLY for rookies, after all the principle of racing is driving the fastest you can, drive to the limit and in ANY car, it is difficult to drive to the limit all the time). If you prefer Open Wheelers, Formule Renault 2.0 or Dallara F3 are pretty rookie friendly, Tatuus as well.

thanks. iss there some motec files or replays for tracks and cars?
    gt3 cup is great car
    gt3 pack is easy...
but i was more focused on kinetics and fundamentals of understanding breaking points momentum etc. Tatus is easy to drive until you see 3.5sec gap till fast guys.

I think you should leave aside the MX5 as it doesn't have good tyre data. (the thing can hit more than 2G !)

The old Miata, yes, I rolled over on the Nords2.30, because of grip.

+1 for GT3 Cup and Skippy. USF2000 is also a good single seater but I'd recommend to start with Skippy.

Skippy is good for learning weight transfer. Don't be put off if you keep spinning it.

If it is worth depend completely on you. I bought them and I like them more than ISI karts. It just depend if you plan to race them or if they are only a mean to learn. In this case free content should be your first choice.
