Hi, if you start the in game music player and then you exit rF2 (or it crashes) the music keeps playing. Nothing shows up in Task Manager so the only way to stop it if this happens (AFAIK) is to restart the PC. I know you can assign a button to stop it in game, but sometimes it can be forgotten. The game should stop everything it starts when it closes normally. *ps obviously this is low priority and given the choice between fixing the bands on the music player and fixing the band on the Porsche GT3 steering wheel I'd have to go with the Porsche.
Hi, Did you try with this task manager ? https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/downloads/process-explorer
Have you seen if the process appears in the "Details" tab? Sometimes when a program has closed incorrectly and doesn't appear in the "Process" tab, it is in the "Details" tab. And you can close from there.
First time I can recall a mention of the music player in the forums. I knew of the player controls in the controller options and ...care factor=0 Only now after reading this, I wondered where is the player? Nothing in the rF install folders unless buried deep in the core.......looking...looking....loo.. found it, I think. Steam options has a music section. So I think if you close Steam it will be the day (and the way) the music died.
