There is an add-on for the frex h-shifter that you also have to have their pedals for. It's a simple lock out mechanism where you can't shift if the clutch is not pressed. An interesting solution but far from ideal since there are dog-box transmissions and even in regular manuals can change gears without clutch when you are in the right RPM range.

The minimum time it takes to change gear is governed by a vehicles upshift and downshift delay time.
For example, the '68 EVE F3 has a upshift delay of 260 ms and downshift delay of 425 ms.
So even if using paddles you are still no faster than those delays.
There are also small weight penalties that are added to the vehicle for using various aids.
    Once again, the '68 EVE F3;
    Autoshift one way: 0.474kg
    Autoshift full: 0.948kg
    Autoclutch Lift: 0.474 kg
    Autoclutch Blip: 1.896kg

Like it or not, some people are going to be fast no matter what controllers used or means of handicapping with penalties.
An old Logitech Momo wheel and 2 pedal setup in the right hands will win regardless of the opponents hardware.

On topic, I'm all for having easy access to any info or data.
As they say, "Knowledge is power" no guarantee it will make you faster though. :(

Even if you join an Assetto Corsa lobby where autoclutch is off and you only have two pedals you can still compete as you can't stall and to get away you just need to gun the throttle :p

I haven't driven AC for ages so am I'm correctly remembering that stalling the engine is impossible?

It is possible but it turns back on on it's own when you push the accelerator.

Ahhh, golf carts dressed as race cars.
12 years ago I thought rF1 deserved better than the old Logitech Momo wheel / 2 pedal setup.
So with a new G25 I was having a blast using the clutch and H-shifter but when I discovered you could clutch start the engine, that blew me away.

You haven't lived until you've had to do that on a formation lap, in a car with no starter :D

The list on the first page of the this thread should give you and indication of how many you might find.
182 cars on the list and...............0.............................← look at the lonely little answer. The cars that weren't listed, in all chances wouldn't but seq either.
We do have an ice cream truck. :D

In real life, Ican only can think of V8 Supertaxis here in Oz and rally cars.

I have found nothing in rFactor's data that indicates paddles vs. sequential, only a "semi-automatic" field.
