    I have already GTX 1080 + SSD.

I wanted your opinion to reassure me about a very expensive purchase that I made (parts not yet received), what do you think ?

I play rF2 on VR and I want to use minimum 25 AI + all race and weather conditions.

That is what I bought :

    - ASUS MAXIMUS XI HERO
    - Intel Core i7-9700K (3.6 GHz / 4.9 GHz)
    - Corsair Hydro Series H100i PLATINUM
    - Gskill Trident Z
    DDR4-4000MHz CL18-19-19-39 1.35V
    16GB (2x8GB)

    Your opinion interests me !

I will use my "old" GTX 1080 with these new components because I do not have the resources to buy a better GPU at the moment.

i7-9700K is probably best gaming CPU you can buy in 2019. i9-9900K has double more threads, but it consumes more power and runs hotter, which is less ideal for overclocking and HT can even slow down some games a bit . RAM speed is a bit overkill for rF2, but there are other games that make use of fast RAM. Looks good.
