I've had a quick run in these, at Imola, Zandvoort & Sebring & have to say they are a fantastic mod to drive on non-oval circuits.
I'm not much of an oval racer, but I would imagine that they would also be a lot of fun on oval style circuits?
Well done to all those who are involved in the production of this mod.

First of all: Nice Mod :).......and nice to see the progress!
One question: the sound is WIP, right?

The release details are always made available on the first post and on a post informing of the update, by the way. There will be an update to sounds to address the mix. There was a last-second update for the release but that compilation was not the right one.

I did some laps at Sebring and I noticed a little issue with steering wheel reflections: for all the laps it seems like the reflected image come from a helicopter cam on the back of the pits, with tents and so on. Did any of you notice it or experienced the same issue? Let me know if you need further informations.

I still have to find a decent pace at Sebring: I find the car to be quite tricky as very low speed, epecially in the very first part of the throttle. Do you have any suggestion to make the car less oversteery on such a bumpy track?

You might want to adjust your throttle curve in the controls menu. Adjust the shape of the line so it does not rise at a 45° angle, but remains near the bottom for the first quarter of it's travel. The longer the section that stays below the original line, the less input is transmitted to the sim. So experiment to balance a more relaxed throttle application vs. lack of response out of slow corners. As always...testing, testing, testing.

I might give it a try, even if I don't like this kind of solutions as they feel a bit like cheating to me.

You don't think throttle and brake pedals are not highly adjustable? I would think an Indycar would have different settings for certain tracks. One example would be a Superspeedway which only needs brakes to get stopped for a pit service,(Big discs but thin, many pucks.) vs a tight road-course package.(Thicker discs, softer pucks) Even the size of the brakes is probably varied, once again depending upon the circuit. So I'm fairly confident the throw and feel of pedals have some adjustability in a modern Indycar.
Sim users have allllllll sorts of hardware, Is it cheating if someone invests in 2000 $$ pedals compared to others who cannot even dream of such equipment? The reason the controls are adjustable is to suit all those various hardware options, from gamepads to motion platforms. Don't limit your enjoyment by holding to some artificial rule of supposed reality.(unless you drive with kite cam or nosehair cam)
    :)

Thanks for all the work. Do you plan to have moveable mirrors in an upcoming update.

Very nice cars, with beautiful liveries. Car interesting to drive, responds sensibly to tuning.
May be the default setup (road course) could be more beginner friendly (wings at 20 º for instance).
    Thanks and congrats.

Yup! It was present before but it got lost in the update.

A new default setup for both road and oval configurations will come with the update. We are a minuscule team but are aiming to get the update out (including remixed sfx) this weekend. About the car, we have a couple of people absolutely loving the blow-overs.

Great mod, recreates the behavior of those rather heavy, powerful cars, with limited down force compared to an F1, as you can deduce from races seen on YT, very rewarding to drive.

    Cheers.

I just tried this for the first time , drives nice but not sure about the sounds ! Sounds almost like an electric car ! Is this accurate ?

Edit: i had a new sound mod installed and engine sound was really low ! Sounds good now ;)
