Awesome job so far! Just did 35 laps on mid ohio, it's a shame there isnt a modern version of that track! Anyways, cant wait for the new update and maybe move the TV cam a bit further back like shown in this video? :)

    Keep up the good work!:D

They might as well just put a full roof over the cockpit and enclose the wheels - it's the way OWR has been heading for the last 10 years anyway.

We got someone new to help with the sounds. The last video preview already featured completely new physics, audio, and liveries (tires are w.i.p.) but the audio has changed for the better since.

Fortunately the pros are back from vacation! Our artist has done some amazing work working alongside the engineer and designer and below are a few previews. The better news is at least four drivers tested the latest build and physics might be release candidate.

A couple of points worth pointing out:
    • Fully implemented scratch-made 3D driver model and helmet with motion
    • Brand new cockpit & steering wheel
    • More ultra-HD liveries completed
    • New tyres
    • RC physics

Why are there two Indycar 2018 mods?

Ours is 2019 and the work began independently as it seemed the previous mod was halted.

I know this might sound a bit unrealistic, but any chance of some talent files to add to the immersion and allow us to do our own 2019 Indy 500?

We looked into it but the results were not there, unfortunately. We will have one class for each race and after release, depending on how things progress with the game core and UI, we can revisit this.

Ah okay. Not a problem. Will there be a qualifying boost or something in the next physics update? Car's a little down on straight line speed at the minute.

The whole thing is changed so don't take v.5 as a baseline. That said, the AI runs the default setup and unless the game changes, it will be the regular rF2 experience - wouldn't it be nice to have an AI Strength multiplier for each session?

About the vehicle filters, maybe someone could recommend on a wishlist that all filters from the same mod are grouped under one overall umbrella and the user can cascade/choose from it.

Hello everyone! A little bit of news.

We are putting together the template package and also our release candidate build. The templates will be released first but the mod should be released before the weekend, bar any tragedies.

Is there something up with the wireframe? Turned it on, moved it to the top but can't see it.

    EDIT: It's working now!

The first post has been updated with all links, by the way. Also, we have given permission for this to be converted to Grand Prix 4 :).

We are dedicating time to the 1999 Endurance mod and 1970 is the very next item in our priority list, once we either complete or release a good portion of 1999 vehicles.
