The VR launch was changed some time ago from switching via the Graphics config, to using the more normal way of starting games in VR through steam launch options. I've only ever started the sim in VR this way since it was updated. It's possible that some launch options might get round this, but...

I note that Reiza have replaced the trackside billboard trees with 3D ones, which makes a huge difference in VR immersion. Is this something possible in your version Mike, or is there a limit with the graphics engine in rF2 to accomplish this?

And have you tried removing opencomposite and running througn SteamVR again to see if its still there?

Does it show if you run on monitor as well as VR. I've never seen that in VR before

Would also appreciate this being bumped up the list please. This isn't an annoying bug with workarounds. In VR it is game breaking and affects purchased content that is unuseable. Appreciate that there's always priorities, but i can't help think that if this affected single and triple screens...

Can you run other tracks well in VR with that card? I have a 6600XT and that struggles big time with busier tracks. The 5500xt is an entry level 1080p card isn't it? I'm not surprised you're struggling to be honest.

Hi, just started using TinyPedal in VR on an Oculus Rift S the last few days. I had to go back to SteamVR rather than OpenXR which is a shame, but using Crewchief VR overlay function this all works really well in VR. One thing that is slightly off putting, is that the VR mirror "Bleeds"...

Hi, I can never use alt/tab. It doesn't work for me either. However, windows key and D will switch out to the desktop. Try that.

In the new UI i am guessing? If so, this has been reported and will be fixed on the next update.

Race cars only for me thanks. I have zero interest in running around in a street car, although i know some people like this. If this is your thing, AC provides an almost unlimited supply of street car mods.

Actually, i just rechecked the AC version and the rubber stops and starts in the same place as the rf2 version, so maybe its not the real road, but simply a road texture?

Thanks very much Senormen. One of my favourite tracks from AC, and previosly in iRacing. A few points i've noticed. The formation lap doesn't work, with the cars grinding to a halt after the safety car enters the pits. (also after a full course yellow, the AI are unable to get going again)...

I guess you could do that for everythig and then uninstall Steam?
