Subscription model is much more beneficial to simracing, change my mind.

I have no problem with subscription especially knowing the complex ongoing cost requirement for continuous development, bug fix and customer support etc. It's so costly and it's one of those catch 22 things. Provide the highest level of service, customer care, server hosting and hosted events...

Dedicated server doesn't meet min OS?

This sounds like a time format issue. I ran into similar message when writing my rf2 server helper for linux on tkinter gui. I had to edit the regedit to make sShort date and steamcmd liked it again. reg add \"HKEY_CURRENT_USER\\Control Panel\\International\" /v sShortDate /t REG_SZ /d...

HOW TO: rFactor2 Dedicated Server on Linux

FYI, I made RF2_Server_Helper gui for linux with python and tkinter to installing and managing the server and content. I'm not sure where to post the download but I posted it on the discord-linux-unofficial channel. It's sort of messy code but completely functional and all gui point and click...

    Oval Series in CS

One more overall idea as an example of what something like this might look like for "Easy and Convenient to Jump in a Race and participate that is familiar even to iRacers etc.". AND to simplify things so that you don't have to create fictitious oval tracks if that is too costly or consuming...

Can the broadcast overlay be edited to be a relative screen ?

According to the TinyPedal description link it says it's only delta gap position but not necessarily with me as the reference car. Will the lap cars show up as I approach them or if they are behind as a delta gap on the list ...

Can the broadcast overlay be edited to be a relative screen ?

The problem is that there really isn't a hud that seems to show this information. I tried even Z1 Dashboard and created one with their designer too. What seems to happen is that it shows cards ahead and behind like you would expect in the standings but once there is a deviation to standings...

    Oval Series in CS

Wish list revival. Consider this all, Devs and all. Market makers and promoters etc. OK, here is where this all comes from. Mathematically speaking there is a certain pool of sim drivers. Of this pool of existing drivers many/most seem to be at iRacing. It seems that the focus of rfactor,ACC...

Can the broadcast overlay be edited to be a relative screen ?

I was aware of this but wasn't aware if it would show the leaders coming up behind you or if you have a leader in front of you etc. I'll play with it some more and see. thanks

Can the broadcast overlay be edited to be a relative screen ?

Hi, I see the broadcast overlay and the description of editing it but wonder to what extent. Can the standings or any portion of it be edited to work like a relative screen instead of standings ? How far ahead and behind each driver is relative to your position on the track ? etc etc. Can...

Is it possible to get notified when driver enter my server ?

Is there already an API that reads the players on the track ? Also would be nice to have this for the CS tracks too.

    Oval Series in CS

Why worry about licensing just make some fictional oval tracks and even fictional cars. Modified or something NON nascar but oval race cars and tracks without the expense of licensing etc. Street Stocks Ovals Anything but put some ovals in the CS system.
