Just to note rF2 is now my favorite sim (including GT3 class). I was jumping from rF2 to ACC, but after watching the latest Aris live about 1.9 update to ACC I understood the difference. In rF2 physic is dynamic and so is the feeling of driving a car. ACC with 1.8 update fixed some gap and now...
While I don't care about schmelzedes, Ferrari feels much worse than before. I'm using a default setup, so maybe that is a problem. However, setups should be updated as well, right?
I saw negative review on Steam as well regarding rF2 and G29. The guy doesn't allow to comment under his review, though. They must have something really messed up with their setups. Maybe logitech application or something, because rF2 is the best experience I've ever had with this wheel. And I...
I'm also voting for Linux. It's an only desktop OS with RT capabilities. Afaik rFactor PRO is running on Real Time Linux and RTOS. It would give an ability to take the rF2 into higher level. Furthermore, Linux is superior when comes to performance, but it would demand porting the game to Vulkan...
After ACC update to 1.8 it feels closer to rF2. However, rF2 is an only sim where my G29 is working as intended. I can 'feel' the car and I can break which seems to be impossible in ACC with G29 breaking pad. Driving in rF2 is just a pleasure.
Thanks! It will be nice if developers publish some feature list or at least be more communicative with the community. When I have some doubts about ACC I can always ask Aris on chat. When comes to rF2 we usually have to experiment on our own.
