Yes , but it´s better now. As I said you have more options and you can more or less run your old config without going back to former RC´s. So (in theory) it should be possible for you to switch to the new RC without ruining your league races.

You have options now , without filter , with modern and with classic. With classic you should be able to use your old settings without tweaking much.

Thank you. With the new gamepad steering options it should be possible for everyone to find a solution, which fits the likings. Didn´t took long and I managed to get a decent setting.

No it´s not really related to the last RC. But when we are talking about new gamepad controls, (in my eyes) ensuring everyone has rumble is part of the cake.

I can´t confirm anything because as I said I have rumble. But there are people now driving for years without rumble on their gamepad. Win11 seems to make it worse, but it existed before. It really would be nice if you could look into that issue, because (when it works) it is best in class.

Thanks for that Camav. Do you have further suggestions for people not getting the controller vibrations ? As I said, I have always had vibration and therefore never had to dive too deep into that issue.

Glad you noticed this too. Switching to wheel without sensitivity doesn´t work well. Nowhere close to the controller experience before the new RC. Does Devin really think he can make such statements and nobody will notice that ?

Race 07 is still great with controller. The only better controller game was RF2 (before RC), because of newer and more detailed physics.

You can see the wheel is countersteering without touching the pad. That looks and feels like a wet cheater dream.

It basically countersteers for you. So indeed you can have faster laptimes, You can accelerate full throttle out of corner, you couldn´t before. But you could add god mode too to get faster laptimes. But that´s not the reason we are playing sims. I don´t play racing games just to see my car...

Just make an option in future releases to enable/disable this ingenious invention, than the discussion is obsolete.

The whole "smart" thing is a joke. I have no intension so mess around with settings which were perfect for years. They release tracks like Dirijah, without any tracklights (no time for that ?) , but have the time to add ingenious ideas like a smart filter. I can´t remember reading one single...

This doesn´t sound strange. It describes how it feels now. Plus you can see how there is some kind of auto correction, the steering wheel sometimes countersteers without touching the pad. And that´s with all helpers off.

Until new RC driving with controller was a dream. Now it´s broken. Remove this "smart" filter , no one has asked for anything like that in RF2.
