I am fortunate enough to have a job with a company that designs and manufactures equipment for testing vehicles.
We recently started a new project for a Simulator using technology developed for F1 by Williams and I thought some of you may be interested to see how it works.
I agree , I think there is a slot behind the one in the Side Plate. This would also imply the bottom 'adjuster screw' has a nut on the back of it and doesn't screw into the Front Plate.
You are :)
This sounds like the in-game reverb from being close to walls.
Try a more open track and see if it disappears.
I get this a lot if I turn the Rear Surround up too high. There is a way to alter it in a JSON somewhere.
I hope it is at least the same priority as VR support as the sounds don't move with the Cockpit cam either. I use TrackIR and not having the Stereo imaging move when I look around is a pain. The Occulus guys will probably be more vocal ;)
It is an issue with certain AA settings and the Heat Haze effect from the exhaust.
You could try changing AA settings or disabling the effect in the Player.json.
"Heat FX Fade Speed":30,
"Heat FX Fade Speed#":"Speed at which exhaust heat effects reduce by half (0 to completely disable)",
