    Stock Car templates

Ok, this has to be common knowledge but I must be too dense - I searched everywhere I know but I can't find any car templates. Anyone? Looking for the stock car templates for now. Thanks

    Manual clutch functionality

In Raceroom you can get away with not using the clutch - for a while, but you slowly damage you transmission (with damage on) and eventually will loose the tranny altogether. For me it's not about if I'm faster to not. If the car IRL was a manual I would like to simulate that - immersion factor :)

    Manual clutch functionality

I might not have understood your explanation of BalkTorque. Are you saying there are some mods that would require proper clutch use? Note, I've not tried many but I can freely shift up/down without clutch in a few of the more recent, highly regarded, mods I've tried - example the latest "F1...

    Manual clutch functionality

Yeah, the last manual transmission for me was back in early 2000's with a BMW 325is and a 1995 Corvette - everything since has been an automatic. I got tired of driving in heavy traffic with a manual. At least the automatic transmissions in some of the newer performance cars shift very well -...

    Manual clutch functionality

But that's the thing, clutch functionality is simulated in 3 of the top 5 "current" racing games/sims - AMS, AC, and R3E. There's nothing like racing an old historic with manual clutch and h-shifter - paddle shifting is just above an automatic o_O As an addition to this topic... Unless rF2...

    Manual clutch functionality

With all of the changes being made/planned by Studio397, how come manual clutch functionality doesn't seem to be a priority. There has got to be a lot of long-time rF2 racers here (I've owned rF2 for 2-3 years) that must have seen this topic beaten to death in the past but I'm a little...

Released Formula E Energize Pack 2018 - Now Available!!!!

My intent is not to criticize, just an opinion. These cars and track are not my cup of tea, I'll pass. I was hoping for more core improvements and updates to core content before new content (I did purchased the GT3 pack though). I love new content but first things first, in my opinion. With...

    Latest Roadmap Update -October 2017

A very good deal for the sim racer, but you don't get all DLC for that price. If it did, I don't know how the studio would be able to survive. New DLC is needed to fund ongoing development. I personally have no problem with funding though DLC, especially if it means helping keep the studio...

Released NEW! GT3 Pack - Now Available!

Ok, I went ahead and unsubscribed to all 5 cars - Steam Inventory, find in workshop, unsubscribe (repeat 5 times). Now I have the latest versions after restarting rF2 (didn't need to subscribe, was automatic). I originally "assumed" I had the latest versions. For me I'm now good to go but it's...

Released NEW! GT3 Pack - Now Available!

It shouldn't be this obscure! Especially with Studio397 content. I bought the GT3 Power Pack when first released, and the additional cars automatically downloaded when they became available. But, I'm not getting the update - I'm showing two versions but v1.0 and v1.01. So, from one of the...

    Project CARS 2 Review

I did most of my comparisons between AC and PC2 for one reason that rF2 has less cars in common - I wanted to use official content, not mods. First off, I'm not going to say the PC2 physics are on par with rF2 but last night I did compare the McLaren 650s between the two. Again, I was surprised...

    Project CARS 2 Review

If you take a man for his word, and of course some won't, they plan on tweaking/bug fixing for at least a year. Also, according to a source they have one developer that is exclusively working on improving the AI. Supposedly some glaring issues have already been fixed in the next patch. I have...
