I agree, I think I've seen the same issue now.
If it is then I don't think it's a rF2 problem. You'll get it in other games too.
Do you use VR? I find that in VR sometimes my mouse pointer disappears and I need to press "Win" + "Y" to bring it back.
I've only just switched to the new UI. Did this use to show up previously in older new UI builds? As it's one thing I'm not liking about the switch.
So how do I enable this? First time using the new UI and I can't seem to find the setting.
If you are using a dedicated server (steamcmd) install then I find that the MAS2 tool doesn't put the created rfcmp file into the correct folder....
Where are you running it from. I've dropped the rF2Headlights.exe file straight into my Bin64 folder (same one where the rFactor2.exe is)
Check the all_vehicles.ini file has the correct path inside [ATTACH] I moved my rF2 install in Steam and had to go and edit this file to correct...
Can I ask what features the "Steam plugin" brings? Or is this just to keep the game up to date with latest Steam client?
So I have managed to work it out. In the player.json it was set to multiple race sessions. Setting this back to a single race sorted the problem...
Has your friend checked his router firewall settings too? We had a similar issue where one driver had "Filter Multicast" enabled on their router....
