Can you drive this car at spa attacking all curbs, then drive any other car in rFactor 2 over the same curbs and tell me that they sound close or even remember each other?
If you do the same thing I did in that video with a GT3 car, you will have proper curb sounds.
Does it sound ok to you on that video?
I can make another video with another car and show the difference. I can make a video with 100 cars from different sims. None will sound like that.
Car is excelent to drive and the engine sounds are amazing, but here are a few things I would like to see:
1) Fix the curb sounds. Currently, it sounds like radio static, just a noise. I just can't believe this is by design. Check video below
2) Fix the interior materials of the cockpit, so...
It would be great to have those channels enabled by default, indeed.
But just having your support for so long in the thread is enough, my friend.
Congrats and thanks for the great plugin!
hi everyone!
the sounds were normal the other day, but now the sound over some specific curbs got replaced by radio static sound, as you can hear in this video:
this does not happen on all curbs, but it does happen on more than one track (nola, lime rock and spa tested).
i tried repairing...
i did reinstall both now and i still get crashes, but now i noticed that it only happens after i get into the car and exit by pressing ESC.
after that, there are two things that can happen when i try to click "drive" to get back on the track:
1) the game will freeze the view in the VR headset...
video card is an RTX 3080 Eagle OC 10GB.
i'm in the release candidate option in the beta... didn't try the NONE option since i was looking to race in the new online system.
yes, verified integrity several times... also, this issue was already happening before switching to the beta.
that line...
I play DCS too, yeah, the USB f ups are really common in windows. I'm aware of that.
No hub in this machine, but I swapped the wheel a few times now, it's a csw v2, so there's a history for this model with USB too.
I tried the DDU in the most aggressive possible config to no avail. Next step...
i've disabled as much as possible any software that could be interfering, i've monitored their activity and none uses my CPU that much for a game to hang... i also keep my firmware and drivers as updated as possible... there are no entries in the event viewer other than the game has stopped...
