Hi guys, I'm going to have to sell my system and I don't want to install (can't actually, long story) do a clean windows install. So; W10 has to stay, but I don't want others to be able to run rF2, nor my steam account. But how to I remove all those files; uninstalling steam, doesn't make rF2 go away, right? And I don't see an "uninstall" option for rF2 (or Automobilista for instance). I'm still a noob with Steam, so please help me out here a bit?
Is it really that simple guys?! Wow, I do feel stupid.......sorry, I really couldn't think of a way to do it. Thank you very much! I'll have a go at it, saw the options indeed, so it must work! (Sad to say goodbye to sim racing though!)
No, it's not hacked. But when I sell the thing; I don't want someone else to log in when my name and password sit in that screen automatically. Bit afraid of that, so just want to uninstall it all together. Thought that would be the best way.
the safest solution to do in these cases would be to run low-level formatting on the HDD, only in this way will you permanently and irretrievably eliminate any software or activity you have done with this PC. the low-level formatting in practice returns the hdd to the factory state, it is also used to eliminate particularly powerful viruses, obviously it is necessary to reinstall the operating system. system configuration recovery included in every windows system, performs a high-level format, ie it overwrites the data, and therefore with a suitable software, each data can be restored and reused. games would be the minor problem, think of your personal data in the hands of a disreputable person! I use a translator and I hope I explained myself in an understandable way
Thats a decent option too; I will look into that, thank you. Btw; for a translator engine, this is very well readable! Nice.
