Some things I checked from the last update: - Saw this choosing the car, maybe a simple error that it can be easily fixed - The AFP looks weird when you turn it off, I think it will be better if you let the 3D model without the AFP post - The Steam updates are wrong because it's same thing every time when you modify something
Thumbnails were made for the new ui, I didn't really feel like making them twice, so in the future, they'll look correct. If the post and base were removed, there would just be a black spot due to the ambient occlusion map, so it would look strange that way too. I always forget to change the update notes, and I will probably keep forgetting to do it into the future.
I haven't had a chance to look at the videos from the SimExpo to see about the new UI. That sucks that the picture still needs to be made. Seems like extra work, and it isn't dynamic with what the car is. I miss the rF1 spinner
It's only a little extra work, I just made an all green car to use as a mask, then just take a screenshot of all the other cars and save it.
I'm just thinking out loud for all future content. I converted a car for myself a while ago, and it took me a couple hours to make them. I just feel like it is wasted time. But that is just me. Back to topic I'll should have a fictional skin release sometime soon for this.
Updated today to allow adjustable mirrors(left and right independently), and changed the AFP post to closer match the real one. Also, the windshield is more transparent.
Hey, I ran the AI of this mod against Apex's NTT IndyCar mod and they are incredibly closely matched. This surprised me because they drive really different and I am slower in Apex's mod than in this one. Anyway I think the fact that the mods line up so nicely against one another is a testimony to the quality of the cars and the simulation of both mods. Thanks for all your efforts.
