Hello, I have the game for a few months now and i'm really enjoying it. However there is 1 thing that annoys me and i can"t seem to solve it. I have an audio problem that is exactly as in this video: It is most notable in the menus but it's also there when shifting, riding kerbs and also in general. It only happens in RF2. Not in any other game. Things i tried: - reinstalling rFactor 2 - different audio devices, it's the same on all. - reinstalling audio drivers - maximum audio effects on maximum - changed all audio settings to stereo aswell as multiple different settings. No noticeable change at all - and probably some other stuff that i'm forgetting.. Thanks in advance!
I don't know why you think i have no genuine copy? I do have it. The youtube video is not mine it's just exactly the same sound.(it even is from 2012)
I have all the new menu's and all the latest updates. The video only has the same sound issues as i'm having. I do have the full PAID version. If there is nothing else u can contribute except for bullshitting about a supposed cracked version that i'm having then please be silent.
You can turn the sound off in options / audio or edit the volume Was fully expecting a newbie to think that was the new UI
Wont cure his issue tho. Ive the exact same issue not just in the menus but also while shifting up/down in cars. Tried to solve it for months now but unfortunately not being able to. This issue is just inside rfactor 2 because other sims/games have no issue.
Exactly, i really hope to solve this someday because i really like the gameplay but this sound problem takes away most of the immersion and is annoying as f.
There's a sound buffer tweak floating around. Would have mentioned it yesterday but didn't want to interrupt the first few posts which went sideways... *player.json, something about sound buffer, change from 25 to 35. Works for some.
I think i have tried this but not sure about the values. I will try this tomorrow thank you. Will post back with an update
