Help! rf2 will not launch!

I open the program, get the "preparing to launch rfactor 2" steam screen for a second or two, then it just closes. and nothing!
I've reinstalled twice.
uninstalled all steam stuff.
installed the windows c++ thingies from the folders.
Tried installing some workshop stuff.
and still nothing. someone help!?
I'm on windows 10 64bit alienware r3 15. 16gb ram, ssd, etc etc.

 

So you don't even see the Launcher come up?

 

Nothing. Just that little black steam window that says "loading rfactor" or whatever.
and that only pops up for a second.

 

Got it working!

I needed to install all the c++ redistributables. The ones that come with rfactor2 were not enough.

I found this vid

Basically i found an "rfactor launcher" file, and that file said that msvcr110.dll was missing which linked me to the c++ stuff.

 

Just to try it out.
Before you start rFactor 2, delete the folder ..\Steam\steamapps\common\rFactor 2\UserData
