    Micro information from KartSim :

    "We are currently in discussions with the FIA to release more European content as DLC for Rf2. Unfortunately this is all i can reveal right now."

    I asked Tony via mail.

    Dear God!
    I have tested Quebec now. And I have to say absolutely brilliant and beautiful layouts!
    But very hard to drive.
    Especially the first short layout.
    I can only repeat it again. KartSim is such an asset to RF2! The numerous mods are just awesome! It only lacks the Motion Seat ..
    To all who are not sure, buy it is worth it !! And please more of it !!

    1000 thumbs up from me ! :cool::cool::cool:

    £2950.00 to be precise. But if you are a pro or semi pro team then I suspect it is a very good deal compared to any other pro sim solution. But I'm not into karts so I wouldn't know.

    the Kartsim DLC in rF2 is a demo, you have 3 tracks, but you can't use the settings for the karts.
    You can buy the UK tracks for £450.
    I have the UK tracks (I will buy the rest of the tracks soon), I can race with +30 AI, with rain, at anytime of the day or night, the physics are the top, no reason to use Kartkraft which is a toy compared to Kartsim.

    £450 for the Uk tracks are nothing when a DD wheel costs 1000$, a motion plateform +2000$, pedals and accessories +1000$, triple gsync 1440p 144hz +1000$.....with these hardwares I don't want to use a toy like Kartkraft.....with a g29 why not....

    Kartkraft is like forza7, I like and I have Forza7, but serioulsy when we talk about 'sim', forget Kartkraft please.

    rF2 lacks of tracks, and Kartsim is the most complete sim ever made.

    Any idea where to buy the UK tracks? Everywhere I have looked, I've only seen the £2950 version.

    contact them by email or by facebook.
    https://www.facebook.com/KartSim/
    They will answer you and maybe they can make a special paypal payment.
    It's true the UK package has been removed but I'm sure you can ask them.

    There's a couple of things I don't agree with here

    1. You can absolutely adjust settings in the KartSim DLC for:
    Gear Ratio
    Steering Ratio
    Radiator Tape
    Ride Height
    Front and Rear Wheel Track
    Tyre Pressure
    Compound
    Front Camber
    Max Pedal Force

    2. To state that KartKraft is a toy and is like Forza is just plain wrong and makes me wonder how much time you've actually spent in either KartSim or KartKraft. Both have their place but the KartKraft physics and feel is of a very high level to the point that the feedback on what the rear of the Kart is doing regarding snap oversteer is actually better in KartKraft than it is in KartSim. Both teach you that minimal smooth inputs are required for both steering and throttle/brake and both have extremely accurate tracks included, and both have very good representations of X30s.

    @Marcel Offermans and @Christopher Elliott

    Thanks for adding KartSim into rF2. The tracks are sensational, especially the most recent additions.

    On the subject of the tracks, many have multiple layouts; will we get to use the additional layouts in the future? It would be a shame to have these wonderfully modelled tracks and not be able to use them fully.

    Further, will we get new karts and specific gear sets for the new tracks?

    Thanks and best wishes for Xmas and the new year.

    Clearly I'll have to wait until the new year for an answer.

    @Marcel Offermans
    Could you please take some time to answer my question below. Thank you in advance.

  17. Thats not an answer for Marcel, Kartsim is just released for rFactor 2, but its actually https://www.kart-sim.com/ that is responsible for development etc.

    Thanks @Jimmi Allison

    I thought the team at S397 might have a hand in developing the package but clearly not. I'll fire off an email to the Kart Sim team and report back.

    Cheers.
