    Hey all,

Does anyone experience this bug where trying to view a replay makes it load the wrong track?
I just did some experiments. This seems to happen if you start rFactor 2 and goes straight to play a replay (i.e. no racing or anything else).

Apparently, the game will always try to load the track from the topmost replay in the list. (Edit: This is actually incorrect - see bottom of post).

    Here's how I reproduce this:
    1. Start rFactor 2
    2. Pick any car and a track. For example I pick Tatuus T-318 and Malaysia. I only set Practice on.
    3. Get in the track.
    4. Wait for a bit (I usually wait until the practice timer starts so the replay is created) and then exit the track.
    5. Load another track, for example Silverstone.
    6. After waiting for a bit, quit.
    7. Close rFactor 2.
    8. Restart rFactor 2.
    9. Go to Options -> Replay. Select Malaysia, which should be the 2nd replay in the list.
    10. It should load Silverstone instead.
Can someone confirm to see if it's not just me?

    Thanks!

Edit June 30, 2019 @ 11:50 PM: It seems that what really happened was the game loading the track that you selected in the menu, as user jayarrbee36 wrote.
The steps to reproduce the bug shown above are still correct, since Silverstone should be the selected track when you do step #8.

I had this yesterday, never seen it before. The race replay was from Silverstone International, but Apple Valley Speedway was loaded instead. That was the track I had selected in the menu.

Reloading the replay fixed it. Didn't even restart rF2.

Okay, thank you, so it's not just me then.

Yup, reloading the replay will make it load the correct track. It's just a bit annoying if the wrong track happened to be a track that takes long time to load, like Le Mans for example
I hope this gets fixed soon.

The complexity/fragility of ISI's engine must just GOBSMACK S397. Every little change breaks something else....

Not only the wrong track, but also the wrong cars are loading.
It seems that the previously chosen car/track will load up as if it's still in the game's memory.
Also not all the correct cars in the mod are loading, but only the car I've personally driven with all the same liveries.
(just the Aston Martin from the GT3 pack, all other cars not present)

Also cars hovering over the track/sinking into the tarmac.

Hopefully a fix soon since this issue exists longer than reported.

Yup, problem still present + replays sometimes don’t load the car skins (all cars completely white)
