To be honest, i don't know if it is a Bug or if it has been always so. I wanted to join a Server on that i have been before some Times. But this Time, the Server wanted to download all the needed Files again, even if they are present in the Packages Folder already. After that, i had all the Files 2 times, where the new downloaded ones had the (1) in the Filename. The only Difference was, that i've used the Offline Mode of Steam. Is that a normal Behaviour, that the Synchronisation of the Files, between Server and Client don't works properly in the Offline Mode?
It's normal. Files on the server must have changed. Thus synchronization works properly and need to redownload files.
Sorry, i think we have a Misunderstanding here. The Files on the Server haven't changed. What happens is: I run Steam in Online Mode and get connected to the Server immediately. Then i switch Steam to Offline Mode and all Files (rfmod and rfcmp) are start to downloaded again. I stop that download and switch back to Online Mode and get connected to the Server immediately Summary: - The Files on the Server are the same - Steam in Online Mode: Synchronisation between Server and Client works properly - Steam in Offline Mode: Synchronisation between Server and Client don't works properly The Question is, if that was always the Case/ is that the normal Behaviour?
