My work is done. I have spark-started the PlickBadger Fan Club It would have happened on its own, except that PlickBadger is too modest to shout about how great his mods are, so many don't even know what he has done.
Modesty is a dangerous thing. A very very sympathetic trait, but also dangerous. Some things are just meant to be shouted from the roof tops for all the world to hear.
[OT] I did the same thing. Went straight to TWS after that awesome video. Albeit I raced it in rF1 with the Shelby Daytona I'd love to do a race there in T280 once/if T280 bugs ever fixed. [/OT]
WOW, fantastic work. Thank You PlickBadger! High quality, beautiful set of tracks. Maybe You should update topic or first post so more people can enjoy it?
Yeah man, totally. Update the thread title and make a cool little presentation with some delicious screenshots in post#1. This track is DA BOMB! One of the most fun tracks to drive, those elevation changes blow my mind!
PB, just FYI I believe there may be an issue with the mesh: Also, I am getting full course yellow every race with AI not sure why. Finally, you may want to update first post with link to updated file.
Also there is a jarring bump right where the 1.7 layout merges into the starting straight of the 1.3 layout that really requires you to change your line which is totally fine and it also looks like it was modeled that way deliberately vs. a bug but just wanted to point it out in case that was not the intention.
Yes, and he also did the great Dallas Karting Complex. I'd love to see him do Eagles Landing, Motorsports Ranch Houston, Lake Afton Park, Hallett and Driveway Austin as well.
@PlickBadger, Normally, I'd just uninstall a track with problems like this but this is a special track so was worth snapping a video to point out in hopes that it gets fixed...
As a newbie to this thread let me just say thank you for your work. I used to run SCCA and I've done a couple of TWS HPDE events recently so it was a thrill to find out you had created that track. MSR downloaded perfectly and worked right out of the box! Did you ever get a chance to work on Houston? I'd love to add that to my list of local tracks. Either way, thanks again for TWS and MSR. Very cool!
Bringing this back from the dead. I was over at trackjunkies forum and decided to find all of the links I could to Texas tracks (You can find my post under Texas Tracks - Sim Racing in 2019? . Did Plickbadger ever drop TWS or MSR Houston for rFactor 2? Did not see the links posted on rFactorcentral.
