What are the 3 things you want to see the most and the fastest progress on rF2 ?

People go on about having realistic gearboxes, but how often do they drive something that needs an H shifter?

Using only S397, ISI, Kartsim and Slow Motion content :

Almost half the time or at least 1/3. (about me)

I don't use any manual boxes in rF2 because it doesn't have realistic simulation of them. I've spent close to ten hours just in the classic Pumas in AMS, and those haven't even been out that long.

Why we need such poll ?

Voted for improving simulation, because improving online experience has to be in near release state by now.

    Improve realism was my choice
Nice to see it most popular

Aqua planing / gearbox etc would be very nice & will give rf2 anotyer step up above above any competition out there

Actual gearbox simulation doesn't mean manual only, tramission have effect on bumps if properly done for example, they also can receive damage from contact.

Bad done poll anyway, some options should be together (cars, tracks = content) others should not be there because already coming (competition system + UI).

Bug fixes and included in sounds - the crowd cheering like we had in rFactor1! I remember in some tracks on last lap the sound went louder, amazing experience and immersion factor!

Improving graphics performance (FPS) in all conditions and quality of the graphics are the biggest factors for me at the moment. The ffb and physics are quite good on the recent content, but compared to the other sims the performance on triples is pretty poor at the moment.

It's not just the gearbox but puddle physics and rain ect

The first choice is not only on Physics. What I call "Global Realism" is all the things that S397 could do to improve driving and the driving context (beyond what is essentially immersion).

In fact all the choices have a major importance for rF2, but it is very interesting (I think) to know the priorities of rF2 fans.

In "global realism", maybe it would be interesting to improve the "RealRoad".

Auto or sequential, I would say. Probably more sequential.

@DrivingFast Interesting that you comment on your own poll, but ok: what realroad improvement? I'm curious (I have my own hopes on where things go, though not sure I could easily list some that fall into 'realroad' directly)

Yes, that's why I used the word "maybe".

Since this is an element of "global realism", I suppose it can be improved to be the most realistic.

My most important wish and since rF1, is to have the most realistic simulation.

I pray to God every night before going to bed that this is the ultimate priority of S397. (I'm joking)

    @DrivingFast Just out of curiousity.
You almost always talk about 100% of realism, that you want to have in every aspect.
On the other side i have seen, that you, for example, ask modders of cars, if they can add versions of their car that have more power and torque, than they have in reality.
For me, these 2 things contradict itselfs.

    It's true I agree.

    It was only an idea.

I only chose 2 as for my needs thats all that really applies.
Updating S397 cars that are impacted by physics changes is a no-brainer.

In the Other category, is correcting the tire thermodynamics physics which I doubt will ever happen. When cars are driven approaching the levels they're pushed to in real life the tires get way too hot and cooling cycles don't at all reflect the true physics. I have a hunch the processing it would take may take more CPU overhead than S397 wants to budget (or they don't have a good understanding of those physics) and even if they corrected it, that would impact the mods that have already been released.

What's wrong with the AI? It's probably the best in sim racing. Is it track related because if the track has a bad aiw then it will ruin the ai.
