Is there a version of COTA available somewhere? I cannot find anything at all on this location for RF2. I'ts amazing we don't have this track somewhere for RF2.

Wow, Thank you! That was so fast and I have spent hours trying to find it. I should've just posted this sooner. Thank you!
the op ask about circuit of the America NOT Road america COTA is located at Austin @S.Marshall we have 2 COTA versions but low quality
lol...I was so excited to see a link i didn't even realize it wasn't COTA. Thanks anyway. I am looking for COTA as mesfigas pointed out.
I think it is not updated to the new shaders, it will not look perfect, but something will help, better with post efect deactivated
mesfigas - This gets really good reviews on RD, so it must be different than the two low quality ones you mentioned, correct?
there are 2 cota one made by racerfactor version 1.04 and the link i gave fro race department no idea who made that track which is version 1.1 i think the 1.1 version i gave you might be a bit better but none of them to the high RF2 standards
I did a few hot laps on the RD v1.1 version. I really have no idea how it gets 4.5 out of 5 stars on RD. It's a decent track but very plain and clearly needs updated. I'll probably end up uninstalling it. Hopefully, RFactor 2 can keep up the momentum and put out more tracks like Sebring so we don't have to rely so much on third party tracks.
@S.Marshall we dont have a decent quality cota at the moment try Iracing or Pcars2 for good quality track
lol...I've been racing on all these platforms iRacing, RaceRoom, PC2, AC, and ACC for many years. I finally decided to give RFactor 2 a try a week ago because I've always been a bit hesitant. To my surprise, RF2 is absolutely amazing. The physics through my Fanatec 2.5, McClaren GT3 wheel, and v3 pedals is amazing. I am so happy with RF2 and the way it feels, I can hardly stay away from it. So all that said, I am hoping RF2 can keep up the tracks and development because after 25 hours of racing just over the past week, I'm moving it up to my top spot for racing sims.
RF2 developers will add enviroment and general Track effects and new light they call it track pbr its the same like they add to car exteriors now they wil add it to car interiors and tracks which means that when all those things will be combined with the new online competition system the result will be very eye pleased as well. more laser scan tracks comming as well in near future Nords and Nurbur tracks comming (Laser scan)
I do not know if it's the same version that IronKnuckle124 shared. I think it's good: https://mega.nz/#!kyJ0mYoD!mHwXmm4ygPHe_hly0aRFPt1eHQudU6p-n5zjcYfLMb4
