    I've not seen this one mentioned so I'll throw it in there

    Did my first testing with the BMW GTE building a set for my lad and noticed the front wing height is higher by some 20 to 25mm than the ride height, it's running 70mm+ down the straight at full pelt while the ride height is at 50, seems a bit odd

    Leaving the pits

    On the straight

    This depends only where the "ride height" is taken. If is taken on chassis point then can change dramatically from car to car.
    Personally I suggest you to take them measurements only as references in this way (examples):
    -with 20mm rake at 240kph I have certain aero characteristics
    -with 10mm rake at 240kph I have certain aero characteristics
    ..etc --> and compare.
    Same for mechanical setup like body roll, suspension travels etc..But referred to the same car.
    Don't get crazy on comparing cars in that way on rFactor2.
    Talking about aero in particular a nice downforce/drag ratio is a lot more meaningful when comparing different models, without too much care about where you splitters are located.. :)

    Thanks for the explanation Riccardo

    I did notice the varying heights per vehicle and I know the Beemer has quite a low front end which is why I was curious to start with, you don't learn if you don't ask as they say

    Thanks for taking the time my man, much appreciated :)
