Hi guys, Sorry for the lack of updates....my health took a turn for the worse in January with a bone / blood infection which knocked me around pretty badly for weeks. Back on deck now and will get back to doing updated at a regular pace. I am going to start detailing the infeild of QR firstly with the little thinks around the pond etc, with the pump house and grasses etc. Mike
Mike that’s not good news to hear you have been sick hope you continue to improve let modding take a backseat for a while ;-)
Thank you all for the kind words Feeling good now.....even though it is 35.C in Brisbane and hotter tomorrow So I was looking at my YouTube channel and some of the older video are getting axed. But I had a go at doing an old favorite again, Dick Johnson in his first Mustang in the 1980s giving a commentary on a lap of Lakeside. I made this track in 2009.....oh my.... Hope you enjoy
Thank you so much So please to see a middle aged gentleman like myself doing some sim racing. Still have to iron out the AI and a few more things but it is a great track for sure
All good mate, great track, going to give the F2 or 3 a run here next I think. The AI were good here, certainly couldn't catch the lead pack post the second lap once their tyres were warm. I was running them at 115 skill and 35 aggression.
Great attention to detail, having driven on both lakeside and Qld raceway myself I can vouch for how realistic your tracks are.
Hey Everyone, Long time no posting. I just want to bring you all up to speed on why nothing has happenned for a number of months now. Eariler this year my wife was diagnosed with stage 2-B cervix cancer. So that rocked us somewhat. So we have been frequent flyers back and forth from various hospitals and everything including the track building was put asside till things improved. The good news is that Sayuri will fully recover, and the last treatment is this week here in Brisbane. Once we are past that, I can clear my head and get back to regular updates on both tracks. Thanks for your understanding, Mike.
WoW! I CANNOT even believe you would think of us selfish simmers while your family is going through so much. I am pleased things seem to have worked out successfully and tell your Sayuri she has a large large group of nerds thinking of her and praying for her.
No words.... other than God bless you and your Wife and family and I hope all works out well for you all.
So glad to hear that treatment has gone well. Thank you for the update. Much more important than track updates. Be good to yourselves.
Mate, really good to hear that your wife is going to be ok, as @jimagn said take care of yourselves first!
