After the update to the new GT3 Challengers pack my GT3 pack started to crash the game. Just a few hours earlier all the cars were working. Currently the - McLaren 650S GT3, Radical RXC Turbo GT3, Mercedes AMG GT3 and the Callaway Corvette C7 GT3 crash the game to the desktop the only car from this pack that loads is the Bentley Continental GT3. A track will load to the hundred percent mark then crash to the desktop. All other cars are working including the GT3 challengers pack and the Endurance pack. I have verified the game files and all is 100%, I have also unsubscribed and re downloaded all the cars in question and the problem still persists.
Can confirm this as well. Did some testing adding AI to a session and the original GT3 cars are causing a CTD. Originally thought it was tied to add-on skins and virtual rides but found adding the vanilla cars cause the CTD as well
+1 Even the Bentley is crashing to desktop for me. Didn't even try other cars as I knew other people were already having this issue.
my launcher mentioned several gt3 cars missing the base mod. I was probably going to try the un-subsribe / re-subscribe method. But without a working wheel, I'll wait.
Hi everyone, Since I Updated my rFactor 2 to Roadmap January 2019 the game crashes after loading AI's. If I start a session with 0 ai, it loads on certain tracks only but if you add more AI manually in the session, it pops up the error "rFactor 2 has stopped working" (also if you start the session with more than 5 AI approximately) I tried Reinstalling the Game, verifing integrity in Steam, disabling all plugins, deleting d3d9.dll, deleting player.json and Config_DX11.ini. Nothing Worked. Before the update all the mods worked properly, I raced with 24 AI for 2 hours with Group C mod and Enduracers. I will appreciate your help, Best Regards. Alan
The only thing I can find different between vehicles that load and vehicles that do not load in the trace files is these two lines: 357.42s pitcrew.cpp 341: CUBE error loading animation file HOLDLEFT.ANM: Error locating animation file HOLDLEFT.ANM 357.43s pitcrew.cpp 341: CUBE error loading animation file HOLDRIGHT.ANM: Error locating animation file HOLDRIGHT.ANM Everything seems to be the same up until this point. Both the trace files included were tested at Zandvoort GP track.
Ok guys and gals This problem for me at least was definitely mod related. I had installed a bunch of new tracks just after the last roadmap update. I looked up my last subscribed items and the ones that I had installed manually and started uninstalling them one by one and testing the cars. I am not sure which track caused the problem but the three that I uninstalled were the Daimler test track, Bulgarian GP and the Great Wall track. All my cars are loading at every track now. I suggest that you do the same, it is a pain but it will more than likely solve the problem for at least a few of you.
You may of missed the fix that was released earlier Christopher_EEEToday at 09:53 We have put in a fix for the crashing some of you might be experiencing. Please verify your cache and make sure you are on: Steam Build 3516307 **Also please update your server if you updated today or yesterday.
Lol maybe that was it, my steam build is up to date but for safety sake I'm going to leave those few tracks uninstalled
I can confirm, my system crashed last night loading all the cars. This morning the same group loaded and ran as expected.
