A track like the Targa Florio might be better not laser scanned. It's in pretty poor derepar lately in real life.

i think it make a lot of difference deppending on the country that we are. Here where I live
5 £/euro each is a lot, the local money is very devalued comparing to other countries so for some of us 5 euros buy "just a coffee cup" but for some others buy a lot more!

It also depends on a person. When I was a student 5 eur meant lot more to me than today. I value free time now much more.
Btw in my country it is almost 4 coffee cups in a coffee bar.

Are you saying you can get 4-5 coffees for 1 EUR in a coffee bar?
    Which country? Brazil?

But I thought that's why you laser scan in the first place. Whats the point of laser scanning a track if you don't get such details ?

A very cheap low quality one it must be... the guy is exagerating. Unless he is comparing with that pure coffee pack with 200g that you do at home, then yeah it's quite a lot of coffee for the same price as the pack lol

The idea of the comment is that a 5 euros buy different things in different countries! And yes, my coffee is really a very low quality :(
(Maybe I have exagerated a little hehehehe)

My best guess is in the model it doesn't have the resolution to catch the broken edges of the concrete segments.

One of the most expensive cups of coffee, Kopi luwak, costs around $90 a cup. That'd cover a few DLC's.
    Everything is relative I guess.

I'm perfectly fine without laser scanned tracks, especially on rF2, because the physics and racing experience are so real. That said, I find it reasonable to have the option to get laser scanned tracks as extra content at a fair price for everyone. I'd personally consider buying a few of my favourite tracks in their laser scanned version, ideally for 10 or less euros. More iconic and longer tracks like for instance the Nordschleife would probably be pricier.

I don't care how people build a track, I just want that my G27 is happy and has feelings to give me. Laser or not, a track that is so flat that the wheel seems dead most of the time will soon be discarded.

The biggest problem for us in Brazil is that the value of the DLC here is a direct conversion of the value in Dollar/Euro from other countries.

This happens only with the DLCs. The game for example has a value correction, which makes it more accessible in countries with devalued currency. That helps a lot.

    rFactor 2 - Game:
    Euro - € 29,99
    Brazil - R$ 61,99

    Sebring:
    Euro - € 8,99
    Brazil - R$ 38,11

    GT3 Challengers Pack:
    Euro - € 10,00
    Brazil - R$ 63,50

For us GT3 Challengers Pack is more expensive than rFactor 2.
The values in Euro I found on the internet. Correct me if I'm wrong.

GT3 Challengers Pack is 15€, but still half the price of the game.
