I am having trouble with the following cars at Sebring. (Could be more tracks ). Corvetter, camero, Nissan that came with the game. I turn off pit limiter and can't go faster than the pit speed on track. Turn it on and I just sit in my box. I do this with modern f1 car and it sends me out of the pits automatically . Thanks
Check to make sure you haven't inadvertently turned on the assist for AI to control in pit (not at my home PC so can't say where that is exactly)
I will look. But I drove the McLaren around for about an hour. Changed cars to the corvette and on track speed was limited. Then I turned on pit limiter because when that happened with the modern F1 car (at Silverstone), the game took me out of the pits and I could accelerate. But the game will not take me out of the pits in the corvette, camero or the nissan.
Go to the Options page then Plugins/Difficulty and see if anything is on. To avoid accidentally turning any of those on go to the Controls/Aids page. I unassign all but TC and ABS. Just select one and hit ESC to unassign. The Aids are mainly used when driving with a keyboard.
Somebody here wrote that turning OFF the TC and ABS in the menus was the correct way to enable the in-car adjustments. The menu TC is 3 levels with a large gap between the levels. The in-car adjustment is more steps, closer together.
