My rfactor2 is running in DX11 vesion and 64bit system. And I found that when I begin to driving, any custom plugin can not be used. How can I solve this problem? Thank you for any help.
NONE of the old plugins can be used with dx11. They are in the process of developing a new method of displaying plugin output onto the screen. They have been working on this for at least a year or two. We have begun to suspect that plugins will only be viable again once the new enhanced UI has been completed. I think there are several add-ons that use windows networking to display onscreen graphics, but none of the old rF2 plugins(that I know of at least) will work with the latest iterations of rF2. You'd have to drop back to a version like v1109 that still allows dx9 graphics.
Bear in mind @davehenrie is talking about graphical plugins, such as Trackmap, DeltaBest, FFB Overlay, etc. Plugins that don't draw on-screen still work fine. If you can't get any plugins to run at all, something is wrong.
Thank you for your answer. I found that my DX version is 12, and game version is v1111. I just want to use the "PedalOverlayPlugin". But now it looks impossible.
@Badboy Yeah, PedalOverlay is what I meant when I said FFB Overlay. The game is DX11 (doesn't use 12) and only the old dx9 supports plugins drawing (and plugins like trackmap, which 'inject' into DX, are built for dx9). You can use telemetry to check input traces or FFB levels, but not view it live obviously.
Ok, I used the SimHub to solve this problem. https://www.racedepartment.com/threads/simhub-diy-sim-racing-dash.121578/ But, rfactor must be run in the Windowed Mode. If run in the Fullscreen Mode, the SimHub can not be seen.
