I usually do my racing in daylight conditions, but as I'm starting to do longer races - and with the help of time scale - I want to get more into doing races starting in the evening and through the night. I raced Matsusaka today and what an experience it was.....the track lightning, the ambiance....it was just stunning. Sebring being another one of course. So which tracks are your favourites for night racing? (official and mods).
Yep Matsusaka looks v good at night racing it today, Found my self doing a few laps looking at the scenery at first lol, I had all settings maxed and med PP Mills metro was fun too. Not tried Sebring yet at night yet but will
Try Bathurst i did a dusk to dawn race in the V8's it get's dark and scary up the top of the mountain and if the field spreads out enough you can catch the occasional glimpse of the cars on the lower parts of the track as you run across the top of the mountain. you can see the track in the background Start finish line is visible in the top right of this one. coming into the pit's at dawn after crawling my way into 1st place during the night.
I havent tested in a while but does rF2 like AMS on triples not show headlights on the side monitors?
Watkins Glen looks great at night, and Bathurst is such a challege once the sun gets low becuase you can't see a thing.
Nordshleife2 v2.30 The recent updates to this track at night really ramp up the atmosphere. Blue/Red ambient glows as you go passed spectator tents, flickering fires, bright stadiums and then into dark around other areas. Great stuff. Putting accuracy aside the track is great to drive on and for me really comes alive at night.
