Yo, I put rain drops and road reflections to ultra (texture to high and special effects to high) but i cant see puddles on the tarmac.Maybe it haa to rain for a longer time before they are visible? I started with heavy rain from the get go and drove for a while and even though i had rain throughout the session it stopped and sunlight came out after perhaps 15 minutes, lol. Anyone knows what the minimum settings are to see puddles? Reflections to low is enough?
Nola has been updated. It was used in the tutorial. It does take a little for the puddles to show up. Also I think they show more as the rain lightens and stops.
At LRP you can see the puddles very good. It just takes some time. You can press ctrl+x to accelerate it. Cheers
I tested on Silverstone as i thought that was a updated S397 track. I also though it worked on all tracks. I will test to wait longer. Cheers.
The track maker has to make the puddles work. They need to set the UVWs and paint the puddles into a texture. Painting the puddles is very time consuming and not that much fun.
Thank you so much. The racerfactor trackpack will come out slowly because I want all the tracks to have puddles map and obviously that needs time, for that reason I said my previous comment. The tracks published until now already have puddles map.
Too bad the puddles are just visual (for now). So no need to see them or need to know where they are. But I hope that this will change soon™ (any news on that?)
I would doubt it, unless it could be somehow enabled through vertex colors rather than texture, but it might not be doable. or maybe it might, I have no idea.
