At least this Schumi-thread is still active. I'm really sorry for the fact, that there are people, like the now banned Etel***something, who ensure the closure of mod-dev-threads because of annoying posts.. Some people should really more appreciate the (mostly) free work of the modders/converters. We must feel happy about everyone who even tries to make content for rf2 with its complex physics.
exactly! I checked the 2001 thread yesterday as the thread got closed and I was like 'wtf?' its a shame it seems to have taken a toll on Schumi, I really was looking forward to his stuff and I know things take time, that why most of us are willing to wait especially since he's doing us the favor as F1 fans of bringing the mods into rf2
Why was the 2001 thread closed? I was really looking forward to that mod. Edit: I see why... that guy was being a total jerk.
IT'S a shame, I really liked the look of how the F1 mod was coming along, hopefully we can still get the others from the 00s era
Just cos the thread closed doesn't mean it is the end of the mod. And there is nothing to stop a second thread from being created, I guess.
Hi Guys, I am the bearer of bad news, i was recently hit with a ransomware attack. Which encrypted all my files on my computer, this included all the files which i had already converted for the mod . I am hoping to start it up again in the new year, hopefully by then the new material shaders will be released and the latest version of the 3ds max plugins. It will happen

Hi guys, just a quick update. I am back working on bringing CTDP06 into rF2 Obviously since i last worked on it IBL shaders have been implemented so now i am updating the shaders and textures to make use of this. I currently have 3 cars ingame, Mclaren, Ferrari and Renault. The plan is to get all cars in game and finalized then i can start working on converting the physics over. Thanks
Haha, yes that is the one im looking forward to doing the most, just having a few issues relating to getting individual json files for each material slot, can only seem to get it to work for one! Once i figure that out Mclaren Chrome screenshots will be incoming
