I'm glad you enjoyed it. The Automobilista content is very good; if it translates well into rF2, fun will be had.
it does translate well, especially the tracks. Would love and asked Renato if he could bring more tracks to rf2, as when in dx11 the quality is parallel to rf2.. The cars I would like to hear you guys opinions. I cant give much more details sorry.
Superb video, thanks for making it. As an AMS fan and having spent quite a bit of time on Ibarra with various cars, I really enjoyed it and learned the history of that track through your narration. AMS looks so nice for a DX9 game. Some of its asphalt textures look better than most rF2 tracks. And vegetation looks so good on this track. There's actually grass there. My most anticipated car for the Reiza pack will be the Metalmoro AJR which I spent a lot of time driving in AMS. Here's a video of it I did on Bathurst in AMS (8 laps AI race, no commentary):
I really had no idea that people would enjoy the video so much. Thank you. I hope it has made rF2 fans eager to buy the new DLC when it appears - and even take a look at Automobilista itself. As for another video... it takes me ages to make them because I'm not very good with technology, and I tend to make them when circumstances allow. We'll see. Meanwhile, may I recommend Chris Haye if you're looking for interesting simracing videos? His films are a treat to watch, and he deserves to be more widely known.
thanks for the link -Chris's videos lloks good ive just subscribed, I've pretty much given up on the low substance live (& to long) vids alot of low quality braodcasters are doing now, sim racing girl is good too thanks again
any news ? i don't have AMS, but it seems they want to change the 3D engine for a new game, so i will wait for Reiza Bundle or new Reiza game.
I do not have news. By cons I highly recommend AMS. I bought it 2 months ago just for racing trucks only. I also use superkart, super trucks, and 2 drift cars. A real simulation, very well.
yes, but i prefer Reiza switches to rF2 engine, and brings all the content with DLC, cause i will not buy AMS in 2018, it's very outdated, it's like Race07.
i prefer keeping my money, i will play 1 or 2 hours with AMS. i will wait for the new Reiza or Reiza rF2 bundles, something fresh, cause AMS feels so old and outdated.
You cant speak how it feels since you have never played it. as for what it looks give your self a few seconds from the pits to the track and then you ll forget how it looks.
thanks, but i will not spend any $$ on AMS, they try to make a Reiza 2019 cause AMS is outdated, we need a fresh game, and i will not spend one $ or one minute on AMS, it can be good but it's outdated. That's why we will have Reiza bundles.
Don't fool yourself into thinking that AMS is outdated. It is still the best sim racing package on the market that gets alot of stuff right where other sim devs struggle. And how far Reiza 2019 is something that most likely only the devs know. But reading the last news and the information, that there isn't a desicion made for the engine, I guess it is still a long way to go. Maybe wait for a sale if you are short on money. It is worth it for sure.
it's time to make a thread AMS vs rF2 or is AMS worth it ! i will wait Reiza rF2 bundle, it's the fresh content. It's not about money, but i like playing a lot all games i buy, i don't like just collecting games, and there will be V rally 4 and Forza horizon 4 (this week), so i guess i have no time to play AMS....and i play rF2, it's in the same category, and with rF2 i have found the sim i need. Raceroom or AMS is for me a back step. And if Reiza try to release a fresh game, it's clearly that AMS is outdated. I know that iRacing will finish AI for the end of year, so i will renew my membership too. So for me AMS has not its place in my library. Reiza 2019, yeah sure.
