i can give a very good donation for the modder who can make a full grid for mp4/8 and mp4/13, with all team, and at 4k resolution. i have no interest about mp23.
Because of licensing, McLaren would not agree with different liveries as the original. Every sponsor has to be cleared, if it's anything else than agreed upon.
That is absolutely correct, and as you can see from the minor differences in the official liveries, even those had to be partially changed because of licensing. This is inherent to licensing, we have to work with our partners. But we have provided templates so everybody can create their own liveries and enjoy them.
any modder ? shadows liveries are pretty ugly, i can give a big donation for 4k liveries (100€ or more)
@Marcel Offermans Wich leads me to a question: wouldn't it be possible to create a full field with look-alike color schemes, correct numbers and sound-alike names as it was done with the BT20? From my perspective that works perfect and people wouldn't have to get crackin' in Photoshop or Gimp before actually getting to drive. Alot of people don't have the programs, the skill/knowledge let alone the patience to wait for a skin pack. I know this sounds nitpicky, but this is where immersion starts. The Shadow project skins are pretty simple and copy and paste just with different colors.
Have to agree about the shadow liveries. Unfortunately you can't delete them. Their in the same Mas as the others. 2 rFactor being on steam will only replace them. IF you could repack the rfcmp it would make the car unusable online. Let's just hope the Studio 397 remove them after this comp their there for. Don't hold your breath, the Mclaren GT3 has still got those comp skins from a year ago shamefully. On the other note. Liveries. I am starting work on the MP4/12. Not interested enough in the other two. I have un subscribed from them.
You can't make a skin for the MP4/13 when you click "alt" you've got a messy blue and green soup over the car...even if you did a skin of your own...
I had a similar problem with one of the cars I was working on, it turned out to be the showroom I was using at the time. Changed the showroom, problem solved. Can't remember which showroom it was. Hope this is of help.
