I just ordered a TS-PC Racer as an upgrade from my T300RS. What kind of awesomeness can I expect ? Any tips for rF2 settings? Thanks.

I'm looking at a TS-PC Racer or a CSL Elite PS4. They are approx same price in the UK at the moment (if I don't include LC...which I probably will). TS £480; CSL Euros 520
My head says Thrustmaster for reliability (UK shop sale) but my heart says Fanatec because its seem to review slightly (but only slightly) better and its, well, Fanatec. But its the potential 'only better when it works' type feeling that has me hesitating.

Would love to read your thoughts. I'm sure it will be a good purchase.

TS-PC owner here. Upgraded from a Logitech G29 some months ago and the thing blew me away. Really happy with it.
The default rim is great ergonomically speaking and comes in handy for all the most recent content (GT3/GTE/LMP) but of course you should also think about getting a traditional rim.

As far as settings go, I set strength in the Thrustmater profile al 70% (I think), minimum torque in game at 3% and don't have to fiddle much with the individual car FFB multiplier, (close to 1.00 in most cases).

    Enjoy your new wheel!!

@Mister Bronze you should include the CSL Elite LC. The LC is a huge step up and I've heard the Clubsport have some design flaws and the CSL Elite comes for a fraction of the price so it's great value.
I'm loving the TS-PC/CSL Elite LC combo myself.

Tried a TS-PC a while back, while it feels sturdy enough I was really surprised at the notchiness I felt, so much so I sold it and went back to my G27, maybe I got a bad one ?.

Without having any experience i would suggest you to try the Feel VR direct drive before buy anything if you can afford it.
its the cheapest DD wheel on the market and all Reviews says that is by far much better than any belt driver wheel
    cheers

Coming from a gear driven wheel, I'm surprised you felt it notchy. I'd say mine is pretty smooth but perhaps we had different expectations. For me it's been def an upgrade, so wouldn't consider going back to my G29.

Coming from a gear driven Logitech wheel, I had suffered the constant jerks and lurches the rF2 ffb imparted and learned to just live with it.
Now I get what feels to me a much smoother and more connected feedback from the road surface. I would suspect your won't feel much difference from the 300 except perhaps stronger forces. It is a better wheel, but not a direct drive super wheel.

    Guys things changes
try save some money for a DD wheel
but on the other hand a DD wheel requires a more solid base and non movable to give you the best out of it.

Notchiness came from the notched belts, I'd go for the Fanatec Clubsport.

All of this, it will be a side step instead of a total upgrade, basically slightly better alround

Personally I’d cancel the order and just buy the lc pedals, the t300 is the best bang for buck wheel available, the only worthwhile upgrade would be a dd wheel, if you can justify the price

I have a TS-PC wheel, I dont often play RF2 but I think its a great wheel, i use it with CSL elite LC pedals, I think its a bigger upgrade than it appears over the T300 as you can have more feedback without have clipping.:) Enjoy

My wheel arrived early (Saturday morning) so I've had the whole weekend to play with it on all my sims: rF2, pC2, AC, and R3E. The above review pretty much sums up what I fee as well.

I will go even further: The TS-PC is an absolutely fabulous wheel. Makes my old T300 seem like a toy. It's very sturdy, very quiet, and totally kick ass. Also, I got the TS-PC for $399 USD with free shipping. Worth every penny. Best wheel I've ever owned.
