I'm running a mod in rf1 that's a 2014 f1 mod, and the qualifying session is a meagre ten minutes long, which means that some cars don't bother going out and setting a lap time. Is there a file buried somewhere that allows me to change the length of a practice/qualifying session? I just want to set it to an hour or something so all the cars go out and do at least one hotlap.

    Cheers.

It's probably been about 6 years since I ended my 5 year rF1 career but I'm fairly sure you can adjust session lengths from the ingame menus, same as rF2.

Nope, only race length can be set from the ISI in-game menu.

Edit the rfm file for the series. There's a section that says "Default Scoring" and in it you will find "QualifyDuration" and "QualifyLaps".

Or... launch the server and configure the session there, connecting to it locally.

Hmm, looks like it’s already set to 60 minutes. So why am I only getting ten? Or is it to do with the track list that’s in there?

I'm definitely sure I am no stranger to being wrong. :D

And unfortunately I don't seem to have the answer, either!

Fixed. Track's gdb file was dictating it.

Thanks for pointing in the right direction!
